We started Basil in January in honor of our late father, Vasily. After he got sick, we knew that a lot needed to change in our lives. Whether it was food, medicine, or home products, we quickly committed to using only the healthiest and most natural products we could find. Our father may no longer be with us, but his memory persists in our efforts to improve our lives and our health.

Along the way, we came across beef tallow. We were surprised by all of the benefits that it offers, especially when it comes to your skin. It wasn't long before we started experimenting with making creams and soaps out of tallow, and we immediately fell in love. We were seeing incredible changes with our skin, without having to rely on unnecessary, harmful additives that you find in many store-bought products.
